Anna Sollevi is an artist based in Stockholm, working from her studio at Lövholmen, Gröndal. She graduated her BFA
from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, in 2017. Since then she has been involved in the art community at
Husby Konsthall, both as an artist aswell as a curator and workshop teacher- focusing on textiles, natural dyeing and
foraging. Her artistic practice involves different crafting techniques and a various of materials such as wood, ceramics,
metal and especially textiles. Her installations revolve around history, symbols and materials connected to a fixed site
and nature. The process of her work grows from studying archives, sourcing site specific materials and interviewing
people with local connections and expertise. Her work is material oriented and has both a sensory and pedagogical
aspect to it.
